A warm tone salted paper print. An old tree stands by the edge of a pond. A.limb of the tree extends downward into the water. The print is made using an historical photographic process from the mid 1800s. The paper is sized with salted water and after drying a silver nitrate solution is applied.

Photograph of a table outside in the sun with two picture frames on it. Inside each frame is a large green leaf with a medium format negative on to of it. The leaf and negative are sandwiched beneath glass. A thin piece of acrylic is placed between the negative and leaf to prevent damage to the negative.

It's too hot to spend time in a small room with stinky chemicals, so I'm letting the Aussie sun do the work for me. Chlorotype contact prints on leaves from a grape vine and kiwi vine.
