Look at him. Birthed of four loins, spun to life with four hands. Sightless and abandoned to an indifferent existence #alttextlore #lore #myson

Cave goblins are a slightly altered cousin of the common wild goblin. They have grey skin, white hair, yellow and yellow sclera, though their pupils remain the standard gold that most goblins share. They also have vestigial tails acting as a connecting point between the tailed goblins of the islands and the wild and city goblins in our regions. In the dark caves of the Deep, they rely less on their eyes and use their other senses, like scent and hearing, to navigate.

They form close knit communities to defend themselves against the predators that can roam the deep, generally forming large family units of 10 or more clustered together with other family units. In the dark its fairly difficult to tell each other apart, so they tend to use scent as a differentiator. This is especially important because many predators in the deep hunt by mimicking their prey with fey-adjacent inherent magic, so having an anchor point that is hard to copy is very useful.

Cave goblins will often attach to a single person they particularly enjoy the scent of to form mating pairs.

What I'm saying is even if you don't understand her language, you should have picked up some very not subtle hints from her.

#daily #goblin: Cave Goblin! In your bed! Without your permission!

AGAIN!

Why did I get you a bed if you are just going to sleep in mine every night. And huddled up to my pillow no less.

Stop sniffing it, that's weird.

This would be much easier if we spoke the same language...

An out of focus, fuzzy, up close view of a black cat trying to bite the nose of the person taking the photo.

A left hand comes from out of frame, as the owner tries in vain to push her sweet 16lbs (7.3kg) cat back slightly by their furry chest. The owner is trying to protect their nostrils from puncture wounds, borne in response to excessive love, and a snaggle tooth that the cat broke 10 years prior as a kitten.

How do I get my cat to not stand on pressure points when she stands on me? When I touch her paws to get her to re-adjust, she presses harder 😂
