gag strip with three frames, in the series "The School Of Ariplates" in frame one, Philosopher Ariplates tells his student Demosthenes that he wants to teach Geography today, to which Demosthenes rubs his hands and says "ah, my favorite class." Ariplates says that is great and starts teaching: "well, as you know, the earth is round..." from outside the textframe, someone says "but no, dear colleague" in Frame two we see a new philosopher with his student, starting an argument with Ariplates "...She is flat", to which Ariplates replies "on the contrary, she is a globe" a third voice chimes in: "it is not a she, but a he and has a square shape!" Demosthenes rolls his eyes. in the third frame, we see a number of philosophers engaged in a heated argument about the shape of the earth. "flat!", "globe!" In the foreground, we see Demosthenes and two other students sitting leisurely under a tree "yes, geography is our favorite class!"
