Keeping Kids Safe Is Good but Policy Proposals Are Still Bad for Speech, Innovation, and Kids’ Safety While the committee may feel that their good intentions are enough, the many problems with the legislation make it unfit for the challenges at hand.

A good rule of thumb is to assume any internet bill promoted as “For The Children” would be bad, not only for kids, but also for privacy and the first amendment.
