A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted December 10, 2025. Frame 1: A crowd of people point guns as Star Boy, who faces them with his sword sheathed on his back. “Heh,” one of the people says. “Looks like someone brought a knife to a gunfight.” Another asks, “Why would you use a sword in a world that has guns?” Frame 2: Star Boy puts on his lecturing face and says, “Guns can jam or run out of ammo. A well-maintained sword is always reliable. Besides, anyone can use a gun. Pull a trigger, someone dies – maybe by accident. A sword takes skill. A sword requires you to have the honour to give your opponent a chance to fight back. A sword isn't just a killing machine, it lets you get up close and personal.” Frame 3: All but three people in the crowd have vanished, though only one has noticed. “I use a sword because I don't need a gun,” Star Boy continues. “You don't need a gun when all your intelligent opponents take one look at your sword and run. As for the rest...” Frame 4: “Heads will roll,” Star boy says as, in one smooth movement, he unsheathes his sword and whirls around, removing the heads of everyone who failed to run. “How are those guns working out for you?”

A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted on September 17, 2025. Frame 1: Two stick figures are having a conversation. “Does it ever bother you that everyone in Star Boy is white?” the first figure asks. “What are you talking about? Star Boy isn't white,” the second figure points out. Frame 2: The figures peer intently at Star Boy, a yellow star with swooshy red hair, who is lifting weights with a fwish fwish sound. Frame 3: “Okay, fair point, but I meant the people,” says the first person. “No, no, you've got it all wrong,” replies the second person. “We aren't actually white. The artist is very aware of the issue, but lacks the skill and confidence to accurately represent the spectrum that is humanity. So, instead, we're translucent.” “Wait... what?” asks the first person. “We're translucent, so we're whatever colour the primary background is,” the second person explains. “That usually happens to be white. You've never been to an Experimental Reality Zone, have you? C'mon, I'll show you!” Frame 4: The two figures enter an environment with an erratic rainbow background and distended star outlines. The rainbow background shows through the figures' faces, though the stars do not. “Woah! Far out!” says the first person with a look of delight. “I know, right?” replies the second, looking joyful.

A comic by StarBoyWebcomics posted on September 3, 2025. Frame 1: A pensive stick figure asks Star Boy, "Why aren't you hotter?" Star Boy, his big sword sheathed on his back and his epic swooshy red hair waving in the breeze, replies, "The objectification of hero figures is a serious societal problem." Frame 2: Star Boy swooshes his sword in a circle over the head of the concerned and ducking stick figure. His eyes are closed, mouth open, and his finger extended in pontification as he continues: "It leads to a cultural bias towards a specific so-called ideal body type, which in turn causes body dysmorphia in the population born with different body types or who are unabe to maintain the percieved ideal form. Frame 3: "Uh..." the concerned and confused stick figure begins, but there is no stopping Star Boy who has sheathed his sword with a shhk sound but is otherwise still in full pontification. "It's important to have heroes who don't conform th the fabricated ideal body so people can learn and accept on a cultural level that anyone can be a hero." Frame 4: The stick figure is finally able to get a word in, saying, "... Okay, but what I meant was: you're a star. Shouldn't you have a temperature high enough to incinerate everything you touch?" "Oh." Star boy replies, staring ahead with his usual serious expression. "..." he pauses. "... Yeah, probably."
