Nadya: Jet, you're with me; Jann, you're with diane. Diane: It’s amazin' the state these controls are in. We’ll figure it out in no time. Asha, is the link live? Asha: Yep! I’m starting the translation now. Jann: These numbers don’t look right... Diane: What’cha mean, darlin’? Jann: I’m not great with the language, but math is math, and I can read their numbers - Jann: Look at this here, whatever these unit they are measuring, these numbers are climbing fast, across multiple systems... and this is gauge is clearly a countdown. Jann: This seems like a military installation, I’ve seen a number on Kelrenia but never in this good of condition. Mike: That is our current guess, Dr Del-lex’s mission was going to go up in few months to figure it out. The engineers just finished installing the docking and hab module and have only done some minor scouting. Jann: We’ll need to find the command centre, we should be able to figure out what this brutalist machine does there. Thankfully the Rymina seemed to have pretty consistent layouts of military facilities. Jet: They sure put brutal into brutalism. Panel 2: Mike, an anthropomorphic lizard, and Asha, an anthropomorphic Aussie-Shepard, looking at a computer console. Mike: Our linguist will be set up in a moment, she’ll be up there with you in 36 hours but you have her on the comms for now. Asha: Avenier One, this is the linguist, do you copy? We have something urgent. Nadya: This is Avenier One. We hear you, Seabay! What’s the problem, Mike? Mike: We need you to investigate a Rymina station. We thought it was dead, but something’s going on. Dr. Lastid, you’re the best we have right now. Jann: This feels more like Dr. Del-Lex's field? She’s much more familiar with Ryminan tech. Why not send her? Diane: Jann... Panel 2: Mission Control where Mike, a frog man, is leaning against a wall while a worried Capybara and an Australian Shepard look at him. Mike: We are, but there’s some logistical holdups. This can’t wait – we’ve been picking up strange readings on the sensors, increasing rapidly – and you can make it there faster. Figure out what’s wrong, shut it down ASAP, and maintain your position; Dr. Del-Lex’s team should arrive in approximately 36 hours to relieve you. Shouldn’t be a problem for you four, I’m sure? We have just taken off after performing a landing on the first moon, Lumi, to test the ship's engines. Along with this, we gathered some rock samples for the university since the Geology department was low. We are now returning home and should be touching down in about 6 hours.
