One day I'll wake up and I won't even that you archt there. One day one day one day." Polnareff lays in bed, imagining that Avdol is still there to hold his hand.
"I realize now that I wish I'd been the big Spoon, because maybe if I'd held you a little longer, you'd still be here." Polnareff lays in bed, clinging to a pillow because he knows he'll never get to cling to Avdol like that again.
"Please come back so I don't look stupid for holding onto everything you ever touched." Polnareff begs Avdol to come back for his stuff, and for him.

"Hold me in your arms, just one last time." Polnareff holds Avdol's dismembered arms to hold his face.
"Sometimes I wonder, if I wasn't in the way, if I was more observant, if I'd dead before than, if I made you hate me, if I were faster... Would you still be here" Polnareff blames himself for Avdol protecting him, he can't help but wonder if he could have prevented it.
"I'm glad you touched me one last time, even if it was violent." Polnareff holds his face where Avdol punched him as he stares at what remains of his comrade.
"I'm sorry mon cheri, please don't go." Polnareff is hunched on the ground, clinging to Avdol's arms.
