The armies face off - 2k of Vampire counts (Nighthaunts) and 2k of Dwarves Royal Clan. Round to square base adapters are a life saver and allow AoS armies to be played in The Old World! Already I was being a bit outplayed here, he saw I put a brick of dwarves over the far side and he just....deployed all his stuff away from them! Tactics!
What an absolute car park! Hammers with my general in the middle, absolute brick of my warriors with battle standard bearer on the left, his zombies centre with a banshee behind, necroamncer on Mortis engine (lady Olynder) to the right, grave guard with his battle standard bearer to the right too, his general (vamp on abyssal terror) just charged in. He challenged my general, failed to kill her and she turned around and..... slayed him 😬 clue is in the name with her being a slayer tho!

He won first turn roll-off, this is after the movement phase. To my surprise at the time he just came straight at me with a whole bunch of threats - the bullet that is a Solitaire, his scouted raider with his warlord archon, court and kabs, grotesques up the other flank, Talos and ravager up the middle too. But cleverly he kept plenty back for followups including incubi with archon in venom, Lilith with Wyches in venom. Picky-upy-putty-downy on his mandrakes and the move-shoot-move on his Scourges allowed him to have such mobility and point scoring capability too.
Deployment finished. This PoV from the Drukhari and Harlequin side. Look at his model's bases! Their theme is "rave" and I love all the bright colours they all have.
This is around turn 3 now, although I eventually destroyed almost all his units by the end of the game, at this point I hadn't done enough to disrupt him and score points myself! Those Talos were alive killing my stuff in the middle for far too long, carpark of raider(s) and ravager doing such good work too.
Had a competitive style #40k game with a friend, I brought Creations of Bile and he brought Reaper's Wager. Setting up GW scenery layout was a pain but Drukhari love pain I hear. Game was amazing, he out-scored me but I felt I had the tools to win too. His models so pretty... #batrep #warhammer

Two forces line up against each other - High Elves Vs the Bretonnian Outcasts. The mat and terrain is a beach with some objectives also placed.
Some archers, ellyrion reavers and swordmasters face off against pegasus knights and a Baron... The swordmasters cut down the other unit of pegasus knights (out of shot) but the archers and reavers were easily cut down by the remainder and the baron.
The end of the game - the Caledorian Arch Mage blasted into the Baron and his retinue, with the Lion Noble on lion chariot joined to support. The outcast red wizard in the background takes stock of the battle and readies to leave, having already proved his prowess melting and burning many many elves!
Tried one of the brand new #oldworld scenarios "Upon Shrouded Shores" with objective markers(!). 2.5k High Elves invading the Bretonnian Outcast lands - Victory to the Elves but a thrilling back and forth game. That outcast red wizard just dominated magic against two Arch Mages! #batrep #warhammer

Humble beginnings. The remainder of the Khorne wave and the full nurgle wave are coming for the heroes. The heroes were a Salamander captain, a Salamander lieutenant and a Salamander librarian with a Dark Angels Gravis captain with his bodyguard of heavy intercessors.
The waves of daemons started to cause real problems for the stalwart survivors. The Slaanesh coming to finish the job...
The final moments of the game saw the hellflayer, fiends, changeling, daemonettes and Slaaneshi warlord (Syll'Esske) slaughter the Astartes, but the exterminatus beacon was lit. The Ordo Malleus inquisitors in the ships orbiting this forsaken world had the information they needed to launch the strike to obliterate the daemonic hold.
Hero Mode tabletoptactics.tv/wp-content/u... 2v1 where the 1 has 2k of horde and the 2 have just... Heroes! (And some bodyguards) The heroes get some nice buffs to make it fair. Ended up being 75-70 to the Heroes, absolute blast, refreshing to play in a different way. #40k #warhammer #batrep

2v1. Penitent Host, Knight, Custodes Vs Necrons at 2k. Managed to stop the secret mission of the ancients by charging a mortifier (my last model) at a ghost ark. Good for the mission but bad for the mortifier, as it survived and so couldn't find peace in death... #batrep #warhammer #40k

Settra leading chariots, more chariots with a tomb king, screaming skull catapult and some skeleton infantry and cavalry
Half way through the gameish (end of battle round 2). Gyrocopters engaged either flank with skeleton horse archers, Settra and chariots meet king and longbeards in the middle. Remainder of the snake knights and the tomb king fight the irondrakes with the engineer. War machines at both ends of the table still free and healthy.

Dwarves Vs Tomb Kings. Settra Vs the King Under the Mountain. The dwarven king managed to kill Settra which caused the rest of the tomb kings army to metaphorically and literally fall apart.
