It is with great sadness that we have made the tough decision to stop development on Beatstar as of October 312025. We'd like to take a moment to thank you all for an amazing 4 years. Thank you for sharing your feedback, your fun ideas, song and artist suggestions and enthusiasm, your gripes and most importantly, thank you for being such an amazing community throughout our journey.
This got me so emotional and sad, genuinely. Probably sadder than when I broke up with my first girlfriend and I am not even kidding. It was such a monumental part of my early teenage years, the way I bonded with my current friends over this game, all the emotions it brought.
