Beervent Day 8: Sweet n Sour
@joerlansdale.bsky.social is one of eight authors who I’ll read anything they write, anytime, anywhere. Rusty Puppy is one of my favorites in his wonderful Hap & Leonard series.

Beervent Day 7:
Ben McIntyre wrote Double Cross, the best spy novel I ever read: At times hilarious, even poignant. Only it’s not a novel, it’s nonfiction that reads like one.
Paired with Blush by Foam Brewers, because every now and again I like a fruited sour.

Beervent Day 3: timey-wimey wibbly-wobbly.
Had to pair Blake Crouch’s twisty Recursion, the most realistic time travel thriller I’ve ever read, with First State’s Lucid Refraction hefeweizen. I mean, the label and nomenclature similarities almost require it.

Two 9 pints mini-kegs of beer from Bristol Beer Factory, Milk Stout and Everytime
Happy Christmas BlueSky to those who celebrate. No #beervent today, but looks! Santa went via Bristol Beer Factory on his rounds last night.
#beervent day 24, alas we have come to the end.
Pairing one of my favorite porters, from the folks at Bells in Michigan, with a tremendous near future SF trilogy about what it truly means to be human.
Written by one of the best humans I know, Marcus Sakey.
Happy holidays!
Can of Barney's Beer not milk stout
#Beervent day 24, and on the last day I finally get a stout. Shame I have to drive, but I shall look forward to it later.
#beervent day 23: classics!
Beer: the ultimate OG biggie stout, Breakfast from Founders.
Book(s): well, I love fantasy and science fiction with all my cold dead heart. I gotta rep anything from David Gemmell or Alan Dean Foster, who hooked me into the genres at age 10.

Glass of beer next to the can, Bellfield Winter Warmer.
#Beervent day 23 is my favourite beer so far, a warm, rich and spicy winter ale from Bellfield.
