Three large silvery metal mixing bowls full to overflowing with dark purplish blue blackberries. The bowls are sitting on dry grass in the shade and my twins and I each put a shoe in for the picture to commemorate the harvest. We will go back in about a week to get kite as there are LOTS that are still not quite ready. This is what an Oregon summer is all about!
