#beyondfriday A Shot at Glory to me is more akin to Pete's Meteor or Ordinary Decent Criminal, one of those films where North American stars badly try to evoke working class Dubs (though I find Spacey oddly sexy trying to evoke a kind of cross between Paul and Hughie from Fair City)

#beyondfriday I'd say it's Scotland's Ordinary Decent Criminal. A film starring an absurdly miscast Hollywood star as a working class Celtic hero, featuring real TV people as themselves, that at the time was completely buried and went straight to video.

That was pretty terrible but also weirdly enjoyable. The thin script couldn't support that heavyweight cast. I enjoyed that the ending was downbeat and poignant. What an odd film. RIP Robert Duvall.
