Noah Strycker opted for these areas when #birding the 🌎. Compared with the #endemics map—fairly well-balanced approach. I wonder is it really necessary to visit so many areas in South America? Pity, yet understandably, Venezuela was skipped, while Cameroon turned out to be a waste of time

These were the countries Arjan Dwarshuis considered to offer the best #birding in the world. Understandably the Bird Continent is covered (more than) well yet, compared with the #endemics map, there's insufficient coverage of both Africa (crucial Madagascar) and Asia (e.g. China)

I either saw my first Black-Capped or Carolina Chickadee today at our feeder.
There was a frenzy of activity due to the cold & snow, and this little one kept sneaking up to the window to grab seed that I left on the sill for the smaller birds.
