Impromptu mini repair. Window mechanism fails, windows can just be pulled down. There's always a broomstick. Broken speaker has a weird size and I didn't have a fitting replacement, so that's for later.

Never mind F Derraileur. I was once forced to jam the Throttle on a Volvo 440 open with a pencil when the throttle cable snapped late at night. Controlled the engine revs, and car speed with the clutch. Got me the 5 remaining miles home. #bodge
Fixed a 1920s door latch by replacing a broken internal spring with a reworked safety pin and a bent to fit picture hook. I don't think I've ever been prouder of anything I've done in my life. #DIY #bodge
