Und warum hat man keine 10 Minuten, um die auch ins Deutsche zu übersetzen? Bei Buchtiteln ist das ja absolut berechtigt, aber englische Kapitelnamen???

Ich und Bücher, die so ne absolute unoriginelle 0815-Story haben, sind eine Hassliebe.

Selten ein Buch gehabt, was moralisch so fragwürdig ist...
Ich bin bei der Hälfte und schon in der 3. Situation, wo FMC von einem Mann zu etwas genötigt wird, jetzt sogar vom Love Interest.
Ich mag nicht mehr😭

Boah, manchmal ist es schon hart wenn man sehr triggernde Szenen lesen/hören muss.
Habe mindestens 10 min gebetet, dass die Szene bald vorbei ist und sie nicht mehr zum Trinken genötigt wird ... Wie viel Arschloch muss man den sein, dass man ein 'Nein' nicht akzeptiert?

Dieses Buch wäre nur halb so seltsam, wenn nicht für jede Erwähnung eines Vaters das Wort 'Daddy' verwendet werden würde 😭😂😭
Im Titel steht zwar 'Daddy', aber es macht es nicht weniger seltsam es dann auf jeder Seite mindestens einmal zu lesen/hören....

Aber wenn die Sprecherin schon in den ersten drei Wörtern mit ihrer Unfähigkeit um die Ecke kommt und die englischen Wörter nicht ansatzweise richtig ausspricht, dann hört der Spaß auf!

Genuine question- why is Fourth Wing so widely applauded? I don’t see the appeal of it and the writing style feels so juvenile. I’ve read young adult and teen books that had a more mature voice than this one. TBH I don’t even think teen me would have enjoyed this book

One of the book tropes I hate is the virgin/pure/untouched trope. This is the fastest way to make me DNF a book. Virginity doesn't make a person more interesting/desirable/good. It is simply a lack of experience that doesn't need to be deified. And when it is, it gives me full body ICK! #BookRant

As an avid reader ... you don't need to add adjectives to every noun and put. the. thesaurus down.
