I grew fearing what my family called turnip but what was/is fact rutabaga. But Vermont has its own turnip variety (the state veggie!), the Gilfeather, smooth and creamy and a touch sweet, and I wish Iโd picked some up Wednesday at the local market (maybe they still have a couple). #brassicas
