So I leaned today that my car will say it can’t detect the key if the battery is dead, so I will never know if my car battery is dead or if my key fob is dead. #carproblem #ifeelstupid

Kind of fucking fed up. Back in July I had at least a $1000 of auto work done to pass a safety inspection. Just had relatives tell me there's something else wrong which costs another grand or so. Car is from 2013. I think it's time to get get a new one come January.

2/2 …but it also causes other systems to think they are faulty also. Climate control, cruise control, electronic stability control etc. Do they all share the same signal bus and warning protocols or something? Bad design if so.
