Stanlee Gatti, influential CCA board member, resigned over Vanderbilt sale The celebrity event designer and confidant to SF’s rich and powerful stepped down in protest over the art college’s closure. Two other board members have also departed.

An update on the CCA/CCAC closure:

"Members of CCA’s board say Gatti was “instrumental” in CCA’s progress over the 10 years he served on the board, including helping secure a $20 million state grant last year through his close relationship with Newsom."
