The old and new order square up at Manchester Victoria. BRELs class 150/2 Sprinter stands next to 45007. The Peak survived until its withdrawal in 1988, meeting its end at M.C. Metals in Glasgow in 1992.

A locomotive class synonymous with various lines over the years, one which was the Trans Pennine route. That distinctive Sulzer sound filling the air, as 45103 sits idling to itself in Leeds in the 80s. I really miss sights and sounds like this!
