That's the thread. If you ever see a strange #AWS #Parallelcluster failure where HeadNode works but compute fleet fails instantly and no useful logs .. than go to #CloudTrails and look for KMS accessDenied errors!
This type of failure used to waste HOURS of my time as I obsessively checked my AMI image, bootstrap scripts, pcluster config files etc. etc.
It's not until I go to #AWS #CloudTrails and search for events emitted from the instance ID of the HeadNode .. then the 'aha!' moment:
