Right to left, it's Oni, Denki, and Shio in the sleepy cage. Shio is showing off her wings to express her excitement. The lights were turned up for these photos.
Oni, Denki, and Shio still. Denki making a happy face. Shio still upside down, but wings in. Oni looks a bit put-upon.... (....because he hurt his wing in a night fright two nights ago. After he did, Denki was jealous of the special attention I gave Oni, and Denki cried and pretended they hurt their wing too. It was very silly. In other news, Shio's single dark crest feather fell out again, so it's hard to tell her and Denki apart in low light again, hah.)
They did it again tonight. When I turned on the lights to take a picture, Shio showed off. I think it's funny Denki & Oni sitting together. As you can see, we adjusted the perches recently so two can sit. Normally, it's Shio and Oni. But she's taking time to herself lately.
