[I have seen this myself with library metadata - it is so variable in terms of structure, coverage, and quality (because it has been generated over 100s of years to different standards) so it cannot support some analyses #CollectionsAsData]

Today I'm at Making Meaning: Collections as data at the State Library of Queensland. It's been four years since the last event and AI has complicated public perception of data. It'll be interesting to see if the idea of 'collections as data' has shifted.
