He hesitated, his fingers brushing the small potted plant he had picked up at the market. A succulent of some kind; the vendor had assure him it would bloom with orange blossoms. Perhaps he shouldn't have come— "Cody." He startled, head jerking around to face the voice coming from his side. "General," he said, almost reverently, staring wide-eyed at Obi-Wan, now mere meters away. He was here, alive and well, and speaking to Cody. Obi-Wan shook his head, a sad smile on his face, "Not a general anymore, Cody. Come inside, dear, it's going to get unbearably hot soon." His eyes flicked toward the twin suns climbing higher on the sky and then turned on his heel, gesturing at Cody to follow with a nod of his head. "I'm sorry," Cody blurted out about halfway to the hut, the words bursting forth unbidden. Obi-Wan slowed to a stop. "Whatever for?" he asked, sounding genuinely confused. "Utapau," Cody replied. "You have nothing to be sorry for," Obi-Wan said vehemently. "Cody, that was not your fault."
