13 Ordinary churchgoers are largely kept in the dark about it, because the so-called ‘ #Complementarian & #Traditionalist ‘ clergy, who have #MaleHeadship & #MaleOnlyPriesthood policies in how they run their churches, usually keep that little fact carefully out of the sight of their parishioners.
Those who reject the idea of #WomenPriests in the @churchofengland still aren’t being open about that policy with their congregations & the wider church.
They use euphemisms & coded language, like ‘ #Traditionalist #Complementarian #DistinctiveMinistry.

How can women be equal in status if they can only apply for some of the church posts, while men can apply for all of them?
Or if they’re taught they should submit to men?
