While prioritizing transit is a good thing, much more needs to be done to make Kennedy Rd safe for everyone. If Toronto City Council decided to transform Kennedy Rd into a #CompleteStreet, to provide connectivity and affordable transportation options...

Sadly, Steeles #CompleteStreet does not extend far enough east to encompass where Jessica Salickram was killed in January 2018. She got off a bus on Steeles, in the snow with no sidewalk, and any crosswalks hundreds of meters away. A #CompleteStreet could have saved her life.💔 Jess is not forgotten.

Heading home from @TakisKarantonis swearing in ceremony, I witness a cyclist almost (within couple of inches) get horribly doored by a pick-up driver outsize a biz along Fairfax Dr in Ballston. We desperately need the #CompleteStreet of Fairfax Dr as @susmoarlington proposes.
