I #cycled over twenty miles around the #DerwentValley again, starting off doing the #Ladybower Reservoir loop in reverse of what I did before, then the entire Derwent loop. I got a bit mud-spattered this time (my face speckled in every picture), but both me and the bike rinse off easily.

I #cycled whole of #C9 today, where there weren't floating bus stops was close passed by buses, left hooked, drivers pulled out not signalling til after pulling out, I can cope, no chance w a child in tow or less experienced. Pple are injured/killed sharing space w buses. Not might be, are!!

Thanks - I watched it. The issue still (having #cycled a 50 mile loop yesterday) is not just lack of infra nor safe space but #driver attitude - as if we have no right to be there. This has to be tackled - @heidialexander.bsky.social #cycling as part of #drivingtest.

The point is we need both. Just #cycled in hail round #ParkRoyal, some wide #cyclelanes but every single junction a fail mixing you w #HGVs and only for the hardy. Or foolish. Most #women are deterred by this.
