It's a Myphitic Blight-Hauler!
It hauls blight... myphitically.

What's the next super weapon you want to see implemented in game?
• The M-25 Phased Plasma Pulse-Gun in 40 watt range
• The Mini-nuke
• The Occam's Razor
• The Banana Bomb
• The Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioch

And for those who like a bit of leg.

The vile, lumpen leg was inspired by one of the legs in the Plaguebearer kit.

I did something similar on the Nurgle Mega-Gargant some years later (some would say I lack original ideas).

Painting wise it is the same as all of the Deamon Engines.

Simple pallets, lots of dirty metals and rust with the deamonic flesh in the sickly colours. Plenty of washes etc.

All assembled.

He is more upright than the first one, and in some ways less corrupted.

The second followed the same process, no surprise.

But I didn't want the finished model to be a duplicate.

Exhausts were styrene tubes, reshaped. Far more cables were replaced & not covered. Different textures were added.

Plus, new Conversion Beamer.

The weapons were magnetised.

I built a new Butcher Cannon, as the FW stock one was rather lacking to my eyes.

Torso, shoulder pad and upper limbs got the same treatment.

Like the Blight Drone some cables got replaced, others cleaned up.

I wanted one shoulder pad to have heavy flesh under up, forcing its way out around it. The other was 'cleaner'.

Nurgle-y Forgefiend. Part of what I like about painting daemon engines is adding little details to show what sort of daemon is stuck in there. Oozing slime, grime and verdigris as the creature of entropy within asserts its nature.

Here is my Myphitic Blight Hauler's! They came out wonderfully nasty looking and I love their weird design!

Let's finish showing these sky puppies off.

Here is how they looked after painting.

I added rubble to the base and modelled a 'concrete' lower floor which would be coloured differently to the walls and floor above.

Again I went for a 'discharge' to join the drone to the base and hide the brass rod, but using a different texture.

For the second I went for a classic ruin from an old 40K starter set.

Cast in resin I again fitted some brass rod through it and into the base to make a solid point to attach the Drone to.

I cast some mesh into plaster to make a broken up floor.

For the second Blight Drone I also cut up the body and reposed it, again so that the two models had some differences. Not super obvious, but worth doing.

Not much more work was required on the Blight Drones themselves. After this I moved onto basing.
