In the past few weeks, I have started to actively #degoogle and #demeta my newest device. I've purchased a JellyStar phone to reduce my screen time. No Instagram, No Tik Tok. Progress so far

But Meta and all the rest have been doing this for years, just not calling it AI.
Your algorithm was technically 'AI' showing you stuff it 'thinks' you might be interested in ... and a lot you weren't ... skewed towards ads.

I've seen some #degoogle posts and the movement seem interesting, yet I have not seen much #deApple, #deMicrosoft, #deMeta, or #deBigtech. Is #deGoogle more encompassing than just trying to ditch G and includes all big data mining tech?
Internet privacy is the new trend.
Google/Meta are collecting enormous amount of data about you. You are the product they sell for billions.
