This is basically what Jem Bendell is talking about since his seminal #DeepAdaptation. It’s an inconvenient, deeply sad truth but he suggests we need to let go. Using Kübler-Ross’ 5 Stages of Grief, we can only start to make meaningful change once we accept that the Old is ultimately lost.
