Wilbert's artist rendition of Bosko and Honey Here's what the notes say on my mental take on it: - Don't make them primates (right on the top for obvious reasons) - Lean more into the 'unlucky but still optimistic' route. - Originally coined as "Bosko the N-boy", lean them less in to the obvious blacktroping as humans and more into the animal parts to make them blend in better along other toons while still keeping the positive side of black culture at that time intact. (trust the process) - Keep Bosko's outfit, it looks stylish as is - but not Honey's dear god no - Intergrate the idea they do tapdancing.
To start the New Year, i saw a video discussing the first official Looney Toons and the individual's take on them - Bosko and Honey.
So I did my take on a redesign that still plays into their theming w/o being blatantly a product of the time by making them black sheep.
