I've yet to do tons of practise/iterations for Martin's hair, but I hope I can have fun with his pompadour! I think its a hairstyle which strikes a great balance between cool and silly.

I've done a lot into research and design for the character's hair, particularly for Rene - I feel like black guys don't get enough authentic hair rep in fiction and I hope to make something playful but authentic to irl hair for him!

The idea of a non-verbal split screen story has been influenced by the Siames music video "Mr FEAR" - it feels far more achievable in the time and scope I have for this project (as much as I'd love to work with voice actors!
