Drupal.org to Discontinue Legacy Automatic Updates API on May 4, 2026

Drupal.org will sunset legacy Automatic Updates APIs on 4 May 2026.

Sites using 7.x-1.x or 8.x-1.x will lose update services and hash validation.

Migration required to avoid security risk.
