Quick trip to British Columbia to look at a pair of DHC-II aircraft, in the hangar was the #HorbourAir #eBeaver floatplane ready for the first test flight with her second generation motor and battery set!
Unfortunately only T. C. approved test pilots are allowed to fly in her so no joy :/

Here’s the Harbour Air #eBeaver landing on the Fraser River. Was under a 10 minute flight. Helicopter noise vs the Beaver electric motor was a bit jarring.
Here’s video of the Harbour Air #eBeaver first flight takeoff from the Fraser River just south of YVR Airport. The nearby helicopter was louder than the Beaver aircraft.
