Because when sellers hide behind different accounts, consumers don’t know who they’re buying from. This lack of transparency hurts consumer trust.

This is a response to the previous email from Amazon. Personal information such as the seller name has been blocked out for legal reasons. ''hello, you said seller number 1 is no longer selling this product but when I click on the link in my orders, it's still for sale. Seller number 2 is active and still actively receiving reviews (several today). The same goes for seller number one. Your site allows me to add both products. I previously ordered to my basket and go all the way to the checkout. ''you purchased the item 2 times on January 15.'' see attached screenshots related to the seller/product/order. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like when a product is no longer available. I've been a loyal customer for years. I purchased two [ brand name ] Products in the same order. One from seller one, one from seller too. ''you purchased this item 2 times on January 15.'' signals to me that this product and seller are still active. Which means I have the right to write a review, which matched your guidelines. This is what happened prior to the review: seller number one sent a product that did not match the picture (which is what I legally agreed to, I know my consumer rights) with an expiration date that I could not fulfill. Seller did not reply to several messages for a return request. The cooling off period, also known as write off withdrawal, which is a consumer, right, that I pointed out I was allowed to use for the return, got denied. The retailer had no legal reasons to decline that law and my consumer..'' which is where the screenshot ends.

This is a reply from Amazon support to the previous email pointing out the inconsistency in the statement of the previous email, words by word, including grammar mistakes: ''hello, we cannot publish your review because it does not meet our post guidelines. On Amazon.es, we do not allow refuses in other languages than Spanish and Portuguese, or any of the other official languages of Spain. However we do allow reviews in foreign languages, only for specific products like CDs, DVDs, games and books exclusively if they have titles or subtitles in foreign languages. Ex. CD, DVD, game or book in English, we allow refuse in English or Spanish. In this case is your refuse were about other types of product so this rule does not apply. Please visit the guidelines for more information [inserted as a link to the Amazon website with guidelines] we appreciate your understanding. Kind regards, amazon.es. On the bottom of that email is the first paragraph of the customer reply from the previous screenshot.

I pointed out the seller might be operating under multiple accounts but it was completely ignored. Is this a coincidence or is something fishy going on? #OnlineMarketplace #FraudPrevention #DigitalAccountability #ECommerceEthics #BuyerBeware #ConsumerRights #MarketplaceFairness #Amazon #AmazonFail
