Our advent calendar in Nursery continues to be an engaging challenge for some of our children! Today one of our child independently discovered that she needed 3 #numicon '2s' to make 6. She came excitedly to show her discovery to an adult, before putting them in the 6 pocket! #edusky #earlymaths
One of our Nursery children decided to match numerals on a pocket advent calendar with different mathematical resources. He was given some numicon pieces up to ten and was able to work out how to represent some of the larger numbers by adding numicon together! #eyfs #earlyyears #earlymaths
