I'd say Walking Wounded is a more defined 'album' but Amplifed Heart is their most emotionally resonant LP and my all time fav. The loops and textures in the pop songs, and those strings on the ballads like I Don't Understand Anything!

I love this. I got a Dixons twin cassette stereo for Christmas that year. We were in the Black Isle and it snowed hard. I had #EBTG Eden and a 'Hits' cassette w this track. Both of which I played endlessly. Superb.
