An educator in a gray polo and jeans walks barefoot on a carpet full of Legos in front of a classroom full of students. It is clear from the look on her face or does not feel good.
On the carpet is another row of Legos, but more evenly spaced out, representing the correct amount of salt people should use to melt ice in the winter.
I have to keep filling up my cup with cute kids who care so deeply and are not yet cynical.
This was me, literally walking barefoot on Legos (much to the horror of the students) to demonstrate why too much salt on a side walk is bad. It hurt. But boy, did they GET IT.
