You don't have to commit long-term either: there are numerous services you can use "just for now" without signing up at all, like #LibreY Search, #Cryptpad, #Etherpad, #LibreQR, and the #BinBytes pastebin

@tante I don't think that everything needs to be encapsulated within an app.

I'm using a freely accessible #Etherpad for a shared shipping list. Easy as that, easily accessible via desktop icon, no lock-in, no stupid app that is prone to enshittification.

I Cannot Recommend Etherpad on Sandstorm at This Time Lately, I’ve been using Etherpad on Sandstorm to track notes and clues in the game Blue Prince. While it started okay, I cannot recommend it at this time for this application. What follows is the specific issues that I’ve encountered. Note that this may not mean it’s not fit for any purpose, or that these things cannot be fixed (I haven’t figured out how to fix them). But here are the issues I’ve encountered, and then I’ll talk about what I’m doing instead.

I cannot recommend Etherpad on Sandstorm at this time (for anything involving lots of images).

Ich arbeite bei Texten mit #Etherpad. Jeder SuS hat dort eine eigene Textfarbe und es gibt eine Live-Versionierung mit Replay. Ich sehe also eigene Anteile im Endprodukt, Zwischenprodukte und (temporären) Vandalismus.

Comment nous avons développé un outil d’édition collaborative sur mesure pour nos journalistes Chez Contexte, notre principal produit d’information est l’e-mail. Les briefings quotidiens sont le fruit d’une intervention croisée d’une multitude d’acteurs, du journaliste au rédacteur-réviseur en passant par le chargé de veille. Après plusieurs années sur Google Docs, les limites de la solution nous ont poussés à développer notre propre outil d’édition collaborative : Echo. Je vous raconte comment.

L'édition collaborative est une tannée, #etherpad est ringard, #codimd est dans les limbes, google doc est bancal, et il manque un lien avec un CMS.

Ya qu'à développer une solution à partir des briques existantes, Contexte l' a fait, et c'est beau. Bravo
