"Harbor Sunrise" is a diorama by Mike Smetzer. It presents an imagined visit to a place of warmth and color, a dreamscape crowded with the strange and the exotic. It is bilevel with scenes above and below a dock. The background is woven with wooden beads on stiff bamboo warps.
