ICE claim that a man shattered his skull running into wall triggers tension at a Minnesota hospital Nurses in Minneapolis doubted federal immigration officers' claims about a Mexican immigrant's severe injuries.

Alberto Mondragón was detained and beat by ice, causing severe skull fractures. They claimed that while in handcuffs he ran into a brick wall which caused his injuries. The hospital staff determined that based on the severity and location of the injuries, it could not be possible.
