Jupiter, an anthropomorphic tauric Indian Giant Squirrel. Ver fur colors consist of a gradient through dark blue, purple, red, and several shades of brown, ending at tan. Her inner ears are sky blue, and her irises are lemon yellow. Tik has a red "hood" marking over the top half of tick face, covering tick nose and cheekbones. A midtone brown stripe from each inner ear, filled with light brown fuzz, leads to her eyelids. This contrasts from ver tan muzzle, inner dewlap, and underside. Her outer dewlap, conversely, begins to fade into blue, which proceeds to cover her entire back, down to the tip of her tail. Between the red and tan areas of her body is a smooth gradient from dark to light brown, blending the red and tan together. Tik is wearing a white T-shirt featuring a puppygirl angel holding a large pole with a cross at the end and wearing a skimpy outfit, rendered in cyan, alongside a mauve bra for tick tauric torso, denim shorts with an opening for the tail, and gloves made to resemble crew socks for each oversized lower paw. She is smiling with her forepaws on her front hips, and is surrounded by metallic blue, matte magenta, and fluorescent orange squiggles.

A quick sketch addressing the question (that nobody asked) of "how is she wearing that hoodie? how do her wings fit?"

What's the equivalent to a chastity cage for a creature with a genital slit, as opposed to a sheath or fully external genitalia?

Furgonomics thoughts on glasses.

Probably wouldn't hold great (at least compared to human glasses on human faces) and especially not when tilting your head far forward or upside down, but some people might like them for the aesthetics.

Imagining #Furgononic Office chairs and other #furniture where the back is supported by the armrests entirely, leaving plenty of clearance for #furries' tails. Not only is it elegant #furgonomics, but it has this futuristic #scifi #design to it. Also with a couch you may be able to give some […]

And finally, as I was musing on different viewfinder shapes, I remembered this oddball: the Kyocera Samurai. A form factor that our world never picked up, but looks like it would be the standard for anthros!

Thinking on the #Furgonomics in a near-future #scifi setting where #furries are slowly using #BodyModification technology to give themselves animal traits. Tails would be an early and popular one, but people would quickly run into issues...

At what point do we see the first car to advertise […]

Tl;dr #furgonomics are a lot like ergonomics. Unique to every individual and a process of trial and error. The character having an evolving wheelchair design as you brain storm would be reflective of the irl chair experience. Its all about fucking around and finding out (what works that is).

Image: a pencil crayon sketch of Kepa (aka Kepler) the otter and some emotion tests. They are a blue otter with small horns, a yellow underbelly and a pink tuft on the end of their tail and head. They are standing with oaws clapsed in fromt of chest, holding a cane. They are smiling with big bright eyesg and an open grin; their fangs and pink tongue visible.

Around them are black and white pencil sketches of the following emotions and gestures

1. Upper left. An embarrassed Kepa, their paws on cheeks and wide eyes cast downwards
2. upper right A sleepy kepa, flat on a surface in exhaustion. Their ears are flopped downwards, their eyes are closed and tongue is sticking out in a ‘blep’
3. A gleeful face! Kepa’s eyes are wide and pupils tiny, mouth agape in suprise.
4. A distressed expression, their head tilted downwards and resting in paws. Their eues are closed in a pensive squint .
5. Paw flapping, this otter is stimming! They have a big big smile and though tho camera lost some details, there are faint doublings of the hands above and below, indicating a classical “flapping” stim

Kepa in their wheelchair, with side, back and 3/4 views. The drawing is in progress, but Kepa has on a pair of green cargo pants, and a back hoodie that is striped jn the nonbinary flag colors and oval glasses.

@gangar.bsky.social #Fursona #Furgonomics So! For design context I (and ergo Kepa, my otter w/ fainting goat traits) are of an ambulatory wheelchair user profile. I can stand for short stints but have poor balance and some spinal damage. I alternate between devices. mostly cane & manual rigid frame

Two bust drawings. The left is a white furred bunny girl with long hair and lop bunny ears. Her bangs cover her right (our left) eye. She is looking to the viewer with an open mouthed smile.

The second drawing is the same figure but concealed by green armor and a green leaf cape. She wears a kettle hat and sleeves over her ears, and her face is covered by a mask resembling a falling buffe and a sci fi visor with glowing blue lenses

Slight update to Caerwyn. Gave her lop ears instead of upright ones. #ocsky #artsky #furgonomics

Series of sketches describing various ways the clothing items of the sera accommodate their tail. In warm weather, the tail simply comes out of the breeches, with a flap which covers the base, and cinches the waist. The breeches can be undone by the front and back buttons.
In winter, an additional “sock” buttons onto the rear flap, keeping the tail warm, often lined. Sometimes the tail tip is fringed to keep cold air out of the seam. Some however may opt for a zipper, as use of the tail may be needed, and bare skin providing best traction. (Tail tip gloves?)
In military uniforms, the tail is also covered, for camouflage purposes. However, some sera soldiers opt for a hemmed tail sleeve, or one with an open end, to allow use of a tail dagger, or throwing knives. The current republican uniform offers a detachable tail tip pocket for this reason.
The military uniform also makes use of a cap which offers some protection from the cold for the long lobed seraf ears, my means of flaps and lined pockets, much like a ushanka or bodenovka.

Concept sketch inspired by a discussion over seraf tails. By default, most sera have their tails uncovered due to their use as 3rd hands, and also nonverbal body language cues. However sometimes the tail needs additional coverage. #worldbuilding #sketch #conceptdev #fashion #furgonomics
