On a stormy night, the two Miqo'te sleep in bed together. Unfortunately, the constant rumbling of thunder causes Axi'a to recall a certain event from his journey in Solution Nine.
The moment he remembered the pain of that lightning strike intended to kill, he began screaming as if he was in intense pain in the moment, waking G'raha up in the process.
Seeing how the man next to him was a shivering mess, G'raha quickly woke him up to help him realize it was a dream and needed to relax before he did anything more. It took a while for Axi'a to realize he was safe in their home, embraced by the warmth of the man he loves.
Once he calmed down finally, he started to tear up out of shame for his new fear. But G'raha kindly reminds him that it is not shameful to feel afraid of what seems so small. Afterwards, they both fall asleep clinging to each other, the storm figuratively and literally passing them by at last.
An idea I had after 7.2. Taking place in the far future, storms that sound close by end up being a new fear for Axi'a he never wanted to admit. Luckily, G'raha is there for him to give him the comfort he needs whenever he wants it. #wolgraha #ffxivart #grahatia #ilunastration
