My front yard main garden bed. An apple tree is getting its leaf buds and my husband is tilling around it. The soil is a rich, loamy dark mixture of years of compost, worm activities, and wood chips being worked in and then covered until last year.
It's spring tilling time!! Look at that GORGEOUS soil. It took us 8 years to turn a foot of Utah dry, useless dirt into rich, workable soil. I'm eager to plant in it, but I have to be patient. The area shown here is for tomatoes. #gardensky #Spring #BogWitch #GreenWitch
