It’s been nearly a month since #iOS26 went live. And I’ve lived with it all summer as a developer.
Ya’ll. I’ve tried to keep an open mind. Tried to not be that old man. It does bring some welcome things. Like obvious visual feedback which died with #iOS7.
But….
iOS 26 sucks. It’s ugly and 👎🏻🤮.

Viewing this on a desktop doesn't really do this justice. At phone sizes that text is way too small and there is nowhere near enough contrast.
This really is like #Aqua (and #iOS7) for that matter.
I‘m a bit late to the #wwdc25 party, I have not so fond memories when migrating client projects to #ios7 and I‘m excited to also see the project market implications of this.
Anyways, off to the platform state of the union now…
