Great to see the Leonardo Aeronautics M346 in Canada! This is the only one on the continent at the moment, but there is much potential for Canada's FFLIT project, and for the US Navy. Canada, USA and 13 other countries are training on it at #IFTS in Italy.

MB339CD MM55064 of the Italian Air Force's 61 Stormo, pictured over Southern Italy in 2003. This unit is responsible for advanced jet pilot training and instructor courses. With digital cockpits, the new -CD variants were an addition to the older MB339A models. Today, the pilot training courses are centered around more modern M345 & M346 aircraft. Furthermore, the Italian Air Force has teamed up with Leonardo to form the IFTS (International Flight Training School) at Decimomannu, Sardinia. This facility already attracted a number of foreign air arms. Given the current, quickly changing/escalating transatlantic situation, I wouldn't be surprised if more European air arms will choose for this.
