When the spell is cast, the mage hit by it can no longer control their own mana. Instead, the mana inside them becomes wild and rough. All of the mageโs mana is forced to move at the same time and concentrate. It rushes through the body with no order and no control. The body is not made to hold so much raw power. The mana pushes outward, filling the chest, the arms, the belly, every possible part. The mage then feels heavy and weak. Their muscles stop working, and they cannot move or speak. As more mana gathers, it begins to shake and buzz inside the body, like energy trapped in a small box. The body swells and tightens, unable to release the power. The pressure keeps growing with every heartbeat. Then, when the body cannot hold it anymoreโฆ BOOM. The mage explodes in a blast of pure mana. Everything nearby is torn apart. Stronger mages have more mana, so their explosions are much larger and far more destructive. That's why the spell was banned long ago. In an ancient war, now forgotten by many, Mana Bomb killed millions of people. Powerful mages were turned into living bombs, and their deaths destroyed cities and even whole kingdoms. To stop the destruction, all books that described the spell were burned, and every mage who knew it was hunted down and killed. No one wanted to risk another disaster. But now, somehow, this dark mage has found the spell again and used it on its first victim. A new dark age may be coming...
