A greyscale manga-style comic. A small baby bird harpy is laying in the middle of a forest clearing and is noticed by a jackalope. The baby harpy is loud, and she chirps aimlessly as the jackalope approaches her and sniffs her all over, noticing she has a deformed wing. The jackalope curls up around her and falls asleep. The page fades to black.

A double page spread of a manga-style comic. The harpy girl, now a child, yells her jackalope companion's name, "Chip!" Chip wakes up and scratches behind his ear as the harpy descends down her nest and puts on her bag. A wide panel shows them traversing the forest together. She uses a rope and her deformed arm to climb a tree, then picks fruit with her beak and puts it in her bag. It starts to rain, the two head home, and they share the fruit together and watch the rain safely from inside a bush.

The results of my character design assignment! I wanted to attempt a challenging layout inspired by Boichi's work. The second image is a two page spread.

Wrap-around cover for the blizzard book. It is titled "Bug's Big Book of Gender Envy" by TheBugMangaka aka Kyle Robateau. The other person tells him "For your long list of mental issues you can take breaks from class as an accommodation", to which Bug replies "cool". It then cuts to him in class, standing up from his seat, thinking "Aight imma head out". As he leaves, his professor looks to him and thinks "Ah! He must be taking a break for his autism :)". It cuts again, this time to Bug severely distressed and crying out in pain as he clings to a bathroom door. A small doodle to the side resembles the Shinji in a Chair meme, but instead it’s Bug on a toilet with text above him saying "15 minutes". It then ends with a drawing of Bug standing and smiling, hands on his hips, as an arrow points to him with text stating "Undiagnosed (with IBS) but we're pretty sure".

I made this during my final class of my senior capstone after spending 15 minutes in the bathroom fighting God

A note below this panel says "Note 2: Bug forgot to plug in his phone." It then cuts to a shot of Bug just staring at his phone, exhausted, frustrated, and moments from losing it. Text behind him repeats the phrase "I'm gonna do it", while a note beneath the panel says "Note 3: see note 1". It ends with a cheery, sarcastic message of "I love finals!" accompanied by a tiny winking Bug.

How finals went for me this year 😔 I got everything done and it wasn't *too* hard, but it was beyond exhausting.

A four panel black-and-white ink comic featuring Bug. He sits down at his desk with a notebook and pen, telling himself "Okay! Time to do this in-class write-up. Should be easy~" He begins to work on it, initially thinking mostly about it, before his thoughts shift to Chilchuck, visualized as drawings of him. These thoughts escape the boundaries of the comic panels. He then stops, face flushed, as these Chilchuck thoughts become sexual, with words like "men", "blorbos", and "Ao3" accompanying the thoughts. A small note accompanies this saying "you can tell my fandoms changed while making this comic lmao". Bug, now frustrated, holds out his arms as he tells himself "GOD DAMMIT! My stupid horny brain ruins everything! I'm no better than a man..." another note accompanies this saying "Congrats on your transition! Lol". It then ends with an extra drawing of Bug, drawn outside of the comic, sitting on the ground heavily embarrassed as he says "Going on T is going to destroy me..."

Finished up this comic I drew a couple months ago. What's funny is that I actually haven't felt this way in a long while haha

The 10 am panel says "woke up after sleeping on the couch and found out Hawk's radio show was moved up an hour (decided to call in instead)". It shows Bug slowly waking up, phone in hand bonnet on head, and a backpack leaning against the couch. The 11am panel says "watched breath of the wild videos on the TV and cat videos on my phone, peak brain rot". It shows Bug, now dressed for the day, doing exactly as described with a content look on her face. The 12pm panel says "guest on Hawk's radio show! Had technical difficulties, but it was fun!" It shows bug on her phone, equal parts excited and nervous, calling into a radio show. The other half of the panel shows the radio host happily asking Bug questions. The 1pm panel says "cleaned out Sonny's ears and took out his litter". It shows a cat looking at the viewer as Bug cleans his ear. Bug says "your tail is in my face!" as Sonny thinks "Father... what..." The next panel also takes place at 1pm, saying "Found out the XCB theme and LOST MY MIND! I'M GOING TO SUBMIT CHILCHUCK FANART!" It shows Bug excitedly pointing at a poster which says "theme: absolutely obsessed". The 2pm panel says "called mom and dad, talked to them for a while" and shows Bug pacing around a room as she calls them on her phone.

This is the piece I made for my Sociology of Sex final! It's less "spontaneous" than my other non-consecutive comics since I had to think about some arguments from our readings to include.
