Racing against the weather on this one. Nasty thunderstorms are rolling in here and we're supposed to get a soaker of a storm. I decided to make my acorn cap ink outside. It's messy. I did a quick extraction of the tannins and I'm currently boiling them down to make the #foraged #artist #inkmaking

I don't think I ever shared this, but these were tests from ink I made from wild grape growing nearby! Inkmaking is really fun and not too difficult. I'd recommend everyone try it if you enjoy watercolors or pen and ink!
