Lockheed Martin and XTEND Enable Single-Operator Control of Multi-Class Drones Aviation News – Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® and XTEND have integrated the XTEND Operating System into the MDCX™ autonomy platform, enabling one operator to command multiple classes of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) simultaneously. The development strengthens joint all-domain command and control (JADC2) by improving situational awareness and speeding mission execution. The collaboration brings XTEND’s XOS into Skunk Works’ Multi-Class MDCX (MC-MDCX) workstation, allowing unified command and control across different UAS classes.
