Here is the ultimate in "concept" comps. 100% San Mateo, a town with no "scene" whatsoever in 1977 or 1978 (or any time since, probably), all teen, all loser in the San Francisco "punk" scene (where even the winners got little more than bad drug habits and a couple of singles out). The Junior Executives did have one awful single in a later incarnation, but the Blank are one of S.F.'s nastiest secrets. Thanks to Michael for the tapes and liner notes (enclosed). High School Punks still rule!
